Letting the facts speak for themselves...

History

As I developed this site I wrote code that allowed me to get information from various online resources, parse it and then use it. This process wasn't as easy as I would have liked and so, in the spirit of openness, I decided to bundle up the code and release it as an open source library.

Open Source?

The library is being released under the Apache License version 2.0 (more information can be found here). As it is open source you are free to use it in any way you feel fit, but if you do find it useful I'd appreciate hearing from you and how you are using it. I ask this as by knowing how the library is being it's future direction is easier to see.

Where?

I have chosen to release the code via Github under the name pywind and can be found here.

The intention is to continue to develop the library and add additional sources of information as they become available and useful.

Can I help?

Of course! I welcome all contributions whether they are sent to me via email or as pull requests on github.
